The Suzuki SJ is a off-road vehicle produced by Suzuki from 1982 until 1989. This is an evolution of the old Suzuki LJ80 model.
It was produced in two main versions: SJ410 and SJ413. Of both versions, different models were produced: Cabrio, Berlina, Passo Passo, Pick-Up and Alto Tetto.
Since the first model, the Suzuki SJ was equipped with a 470 4-stroke 4-stroke 4-cylinder engine, called “F10A”, capable of developing a maximum output of 45 hp at 5500 rpm and a maximum torque of 61 N ยท m at 3000 rpm Until 1984 they were equipped with front drum brakes, later they were replaced by disc brakes.
This model is characterized by the 4-speed gearbox with gearbox and 3 traction modes, selectable by a lever near the gearbox, called:
- 2H: rear wheel drive
- 4H: four-wheel drive and normal gears
- 4L: four-wheel drive and reduced gears
